Had a great time at the Tall Ships tonight.

Always very interested to see what people do to improve their photos (the before and after thread is great). So put this selection up to show my snaps from tonight, and would love it people suggested changes (not too advanced, I don't have photoshop, so I'm thinking "black and white" or "change the contrast"). What do you think? Feel free to post your version......

Went up on Saturday evening too...

Mainly went to shoot fireworks for the first time but that prooved very difficult as they didn't wait for it to get properly dark!! They were at 9pm. Also there were big 8ft fences a few meters from the waters edge for most of it. You had to walk about 20mins through dirty industrial area, under fly-overs etc between boats. Galway's Volvo Ocean race realllly outdid the Belfast effort!

Anyway, I didn't get many shots because of that but here's a few of what I got...

Belfast Harbour - featuring the HMS Bounty on the right, featured in films such as "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Mutiny on the Bounty".
