    Hi there,

Myself and my girlfriend will be moving to Wicklow in a few weeks from Cork. Can't say I know the county too well but it seems nice from what I have seen!
We are located in Arklow and I will be looking for part-time work in the area. I am driving at the moment (though if I don't find work the car will have to go) so I would be willing to travel.
I realise that there isnt much out there at the moment but if anybody could help or advice on where to look I'd greatly appreciate it.

    David

Employment wont be easy to find.
Even in the boom times, towns like Arklow and Wicklow town had unemployment rates a little bit higher than the national average. Which was dissapointing considering the county was relatively prosperous in general.

I'm not from Arklow myself but I doubt its going to be easy to find a job.

    Best of luck though

Oh well...doesn't sound too good. Better keep living off the 20 cent tins of Tesco speghetti for another year! Thanks anyway..
