Sports things to do in Cork

    Can anyone think of anything sports related to go see in and around Cork/Cork City next week. will be there on the 19th, 20th and most of the 21st August.

    Had thought of going to see Cork city play but their next game is on too late on the friday and in Drogheda!

    Any rugby games/training sessions, gaa anything like that!

    +any other interseting things in Cork city, have planned to go to english market, gaol...have been to fota so dont want to go again.

    The cork footballers will prob be training in Pairc ui Chaoimh on Thursday night before their all Ireland Semi final on Sunday!!!!

    Some other things to do in cork are visit Blarney Castle, The Whiskey distillery in Midleton, Go to the Michael Collins museum in Clonakilty.

    3 days is just not enuf, Enjoy it!

    Cheers, was beginning to think it was a lost cause.

    Done a years postgrad in Cork, loved it...best compact city centre (can walk to most places) for drinking/shopping/restaurants I can think of in Ireland.

    and the locals are always able to put you in your place even if you didnt ask for it...:D
