    right so

i went to 2 gun dealers and looked at what was availible

one had a new winchester .22 magnum lever action
    a nice small handy rifle
you cant put a modereator on it as the magazine gets in the way
also there isn't a wide range of ammo avalible

he also had a brno.22 bolt action
the bolt can be taken out (for extra safety)
there is more ammo availinble and they come threaded for a mod as standard(note required)

so i reckon it will be a bolt action for me and the winchester can wait a while

if anyone has an entry level .22 rimfire rifle let me know
    i don't need a scope,i have one

open season deal in henry's, they cost about 700-800 euro so u'd be better off pickin up a fully kitted out cz with a good scope, bipod sling and moderator if u wanted to spend that much

Shouldnt be too much of a problem! Old Hiraim Maxim was hanging silencers on lever actions back in the early 20th century.A good gunsmith should be able to sort that out .

i was thinking that myself. . . . if the magazine was shortened to take one less bullet, there would be enough room, hmmmmmm:rolleyes:
