Ladies - ever thought about playing rugby or want to get back playing again? I play for a City centre club, its fun and friendly with excellent coaching staff.

We have already started training on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7.00 to 8.30, right in the city centre.

We currently play in the second division which is competitive but we can still have a little fun on the pitch.

All sizes, shapes, ages and experience welcome. Seriously!!!

If you are interested in training or want to find out more about the women’s game, let me know.

Our first match (freindly) is on the 12th of September and our first league match is the 26th.

Its a great way to get fit, you should come down and give it a go.

everyone is very freindly and we always have a load of new girls starting so you won't be on your own.

Even though I have absolutely nothing against women rubbing against each other on the pitch, why oh why is there no beauty queens playing this game??

i dont want to go off topic here but have to disagree with you ammabokke. i used to play for one of ul bohs mens teams. there were some good looking women on the womens team. they were also one of the best if not the best womens teams in the country.

im pretty sure anyone who makes comments about the size and appearance of rugby girls 1, doesnt know what they're talking about and 2, is just insecure about their own lack of skills and ability to play!

Thank you very much for sharing with us your only post to prove 1, you have better rugby experience and knowledge and 2, show us you're not insecure by posting this.

Back to the real purpose of this post. - We are starting training this Friday but are meeting up on Wednesday evening for a drink and to meet new players so if any ladies would like to get involved in womens rugby. please feel free to get in contact.

Players and coachs put a lot of effort into bring the game on and we welcome anyone that is interested in the game.

    Hey,
I know I'm months too late to reply to this post about joining, so you probably won't see this?! But I thought I'd give it a shot replying anyways!

I'm guessing it's way to late to join this season for rugby, but I'd love to join next season! I'm 19 and have wanted to join rugby for years now! Never played before, but am quick to pick up rules and skills, and I used to play soccer so I have some sporting ability!

So um, yeah, if you see this I'd love to know more about the ladies team so I could maybe joins you's next season!

    Cheers,
    Ash
