All money to the Final table no reg fee, Sporting are putting on a great night with beer, wine and food on the poker floor.

Prize for best hand is a secret.

Bounties (but not on Vera)

P.S. Nearly forgot Vera’s Rule

First hour if anyone raises my big blind I can take it back and don’t be jealous.

The Tournament Director will have the Final say.

All Tables will be dealt by professional dealers.

There will be Pot Limit and No Limit Hold'em plus Pot Limit Omaha Cash Games available from 10pm. The rake for a €50 sit down table is €4 per person per half hour.

If you would like to join on the day of this Tournament, only a valid passport or driving licence will be accepted. The Club is strictly over 21's.


All Tournament entries (€20) and Rebuys/Top-ups (€10) will go into the Prize pool.



Vera's Birthday is actually on Thursday 20th August so we'll have to have a BIG celebration come Midnight. There will be wine served with the food at the dinner break, spot prizes (to be decided), a big cake and maybe a few songs from Tom Kitt.

After speaking to Vera, we have decided that it will not be possible to reserve seats, which means the Club will only be able to run the Tournament on a first come first serve basis !

Hi All,

Just spoke to Vera, said that the SE are charging no reg and all money will be going into the prize.

A small misunderstanding that she also thought it was free in. The buy-in to this tournament is €20 all of which will be added to the prize pool.

Also the rebuy period will be for 4 levels of 20 mins as orginally posted by the SE.

Sorry for any confusion.

I was hoping for Vera's sake that the fact money is being added wasnt mentioned before the night! Every degen and knacker in Dublin is going to attend now just like last year! Most of them couldnt tell you who Vera is or point her out!

I wish her all the best anyway and hope the night is a success again!

Don't worry eoghan about the degens going,only the over 21's will be allowed in and as for the added money......well just lets say that a lot of people will be counting the number of entries and re-buys this year....;);)
