Would you of stepped forward for the call to arms to rid the holy land of the filthy Muslims?

I have to say a resounding yes! I would have. Must of been an incredibly exciting adventure for young men to undertake.

Curious phrasing and point of view.If I had responded to the call to arms,fair chance I would have become filthy rich,unfairly and sinfully,with the blessing of the Church.

"win win all round then?" ? No,I'd say lose lose[millions of dead later,and counting] all round I presume that you accept the right of other cultures/religions to view Christians as filthy,if they so wish.Muslims/Jews might view swine eaters as being "filthy" ,for instance. Blessings!
