motor bike rack

    i am looking for advice about putting a motorbike rack on the swift,is their any one in ireland that fit them,or as their is a tow bar on the van may be a trailer would be a better option
    what is the extra cost of a bike trailer on the ferries

    Can't really help you with your main question, but one thing to keep in mind is the weight of the thing and the max load of your rear axle.
    Quite a few people have overloaded their van's rear axle considerably by slinging a big, heavy bike on the back. With the large overhang that most motorhomes tend to have your not just adding the weight of the bike and carrier, but also quite some leverage. (might be the final nail in the coffin for the Fiat FWD chassis that often has traction problems already)

    Imo, anything bigger than a scooter is better (and safer) trailered than carried.
