Hi, I always get my eyebrows waxed and have been told that it can damage the skin around your eyes and make it saggy over time, is this true? I really hate tweezing and just prefer waxing so much quicker and less painful!

    Thanks:D

    Yes this is true.
I have stretch marks and broken blood vessels around my eyes, from waxing.

Have them threaded. Its just as fast as waxing but gives a better overall finish, IMO at least. Also it doesn't pull the skin around your eye unlike waxing.

Is that similiar pain wise to tweezing, I have an awful hate for tweezing just dont like it. I know its not that painful but I just hate it! Are there places in Galway that do it that anyone would recommend?

heya, ya waxing your eyebrows definitely can damage the delicate skin around the eyes. i would recommend threading as well, as kizzy says it is more gentle and doesn't pull the skin. you can teach yourself to do it - thats what i did and its grand once you get the hang of it. you can get videos showing you how to do it on youtube. i can't recommend anywhere to get it done though, in fact the only reason i taught myself is that i kept getting funny looks when asking if beauty salons did threading, no salons do it down this direction!! oh and personally i find it less painful than tweezing :)
