Hi all, i'm having problems listening to any programme broadcast in DD via the digibox to my amp, everything seems to work ok, have checked the optical cable with my dvd all seems fine, all settings are correct, the latest is that sky said that any channel broadcast in DD you should receive via your AV amp, so anyway they are sending out an engineer to check box etc.. but has anyone come across this issue before, many thanks in advance to all who reply.

Do you have a Sky+ box or a Sky+HD Box?

From the thread title I presume DolbyD is fine for you on the movie channels.

IIRC only the Movie channels and the HD channels broadcast in DolbyD, I cant think of any others that do.

Aha, on a Sky+ the only channels that broadcast in DolbyD are the Sky Movies channels.

None of the others do, that's why you havent had any DolbyD through your amp. I'm afraid the engineer will be wasting his time.

BTW a full list of channels on 28.2E that broadcast in DolbyD can be found here. (The ones with the DolbyD logo)

That's odd, I suppose it's just wrong. E4 has never broadcast in DD.

Just a quick update, sky said it's an issue from thier side and are working on it and don't have a resolution time, by the way any programme on sky anytime in DD works fine

Sounds like one of Sky customer services's usual fob offs.
