Basically slim guy here (Bit of weight round my middle). Giving myself 6 months to get into great shape. Would appreciate if someone could help me with a diet/exercise plan. Not expecting miracles but would love a six pack. Is this even realistic?

Very motivated. And of course I'm aware of the basic do's and don'ts regarding diet and exercise but is there tips/hints on how get toned fast.
Superfoods, a particular exercise plan (especially for stomach). I'm 6ft tall and 11 stone so don't want to lose weight.

6 ft tall and 11 stone, that would make you very skinny I'm thinkin. I'm assuming you want to get into shape to look better, women etc etc, why are you concerned about a 6 pack, if I were you I'd wanna bulk up alot more and fill out my t-shirts. No good havin a 6 pack if you're scrawny imo.

im 6ft too, 11st 9 at the moment with 10% body fat. I train my abs after every session, 5 days a week. I try and mix it up every session and make sure to hit each area of your abs. Upper abs, lower, obliques and core specific exercises like plank and side plank and double crunch. Summer time usually means a lot of the fitness magazines have good ab workouts.

No good bulking up and being fat imo :D

Personally, I'd lose whatever excess fat is there first and then gradually build the muscle as cleanly as possible.

thats terrible advice .. Agreed there is no point piling on the fat while bulking but in the OP's case id would hardly be a good idea to drop anywhere below 11st @ 6ft .. instead eat a lot, eat cleanly, lift heavy and do a long slow bulk = little / no BF gained ...

On nonsense. I can't say anything right with you today.
The guys got excess weight around the middle and his goal is a six pack and you're telling him to bulk. Give me a break.

given those stats he will have VERY little excess fat.

what I am saying is that at 6ft it would not be advisable for him to drop below 11 stone, period. If you disagree your entitled to your opinion

I have to say I agree with Corkcomp here. The OP is underweight for his size and any little belly fay he has will slowly and gradually reduce with time doing weights etc. I don't really think the OP is too sure what he wants from his first post, "great shape" is different to many people. Does he just want a 6 pack or does he want to look good (i.e well built and not scrawny). I'd get bigger then work on the 6 pack. If he just wants the six pack people can tell him what to do and vica versa if he wants to get bigger, he needs to be more specific me thinks.
