Bad news is that SC2 has been pushed back to after christmas due to ongoing development of Battle.Net to work with the new game.

HAve tried to get a game on Battlenet recently...keep getting kicked....have good broadband.....are they all using custom maps at this stage...sort of like the CounterStrike crowd?

maybe problem with your copy of starcraft or serial no. you have?
if you're trying to use serial no. which has been been registered before or copy of your starcraft is not genuine

Have only ever used actual CDs (am sur have bought at least 5 since 1997!)
Only registered couple months ago.

Can join games....then get booted....obviously not a mate of the host....

This must be problem with patch then
They're changing patch verion from time to time.
If you're kicked out after joining the game that means you and the host have different patch version.
Try to find newest patch which Blizzard released.
I think it's 1.16.1 and it has been released in mid May this year.

Although the last patch was only a few exploit fix's.

its strange that they dont cover much starcraft stuff, but its an awesome website for shoutcasts of really good company of hero matches and red alert 3 tournaments.
