Im down here in co clare.

At my local station (don't worry mods i won't name them) the price of petrol has gone from €1.14 to €1.17 to €1.20 in just five days!!

and its a similar story in nearby stations, i know the price of the barrell has gone up recently but why do some stations up the price instantly > before they even get a delivery, im sick of being ripped off like this:mad:

so out of interest whats the price down your way??

    Jeez!

It's not just the rip-off price of petrol/diesel look at the rip-off price of elecricity/gas!

The government is happy for the rip-off charges to bring in much needed tax revenue due to the bags of ot that they have made of the economy.

But the real bad ass thing is the ideological froot-loop thinking of the Minister of the environment being a greeen party member of fianna failure who wants you to pay rip off petro/diesel prices because of his hatred of fossil fuels, remember this idiot is saying we must bring in useless wind power (less than 20% efficient) and has added a tax on esb charges to subsidise this useless form of energy production

Why after there was 8c additional tax added to diesel, has petrol still stayed the same amount dearer than diesel?

It's around 120 where I live, rarely goes below 118.

At the moment it's $67.50 a barrel and someone correct me if I'm wrong but when petrol was below €1 a litre months ago, oil was around the same price a barrel wasn't it?

They up the prices because they can!

5c was put on diesel in April, 8c was put on petrol in the budget before that.
