sky tv pop-up message

    Please help i have free sky (unsubcribed) and was sent a new card so i put it into the box and nothing! so i replaced it with the original card and now all i get is a pop up message every 30 seconds :confused:

    If you dont subscribe to sky, why did you put the new card into the box...your only getting the free channels so you dont need it.

    As Danny already stated u dont need a viewing card to watch the FTA channels whilst using a sky box, so remove any card still in the box and remove the power lead to the box for 2 minutes and then return the power lead and dont insert any viewing card and it will boot up with all the fta channels.

    You would get the EPG if the new card worked, which is an advantage.

    Is it one of those UK cards that you had originally that is registered to a UK address that has now been replaced?
