Hi all.. Does anyone know of a great razor for shaving legs that they would highly recommend? It doesn't matter what razor i've used i can NOT get smooth legs :( Any advice? We're going on hols in 3 weeks first time with the other half and the thought of shaving my legs everyday fills me with dread.
I've tried waxing and it just doesn't work!! The hair on my legs seems to be to course. I shave up and down and sideways :p but it just doesn't work.
    Help!!

I think most people have this problem. Any time I shave my legs they're never "silky smooth" like they should be. I had a ball last year and what I did was I shaved my legs three days in a row and they were quite smooth but the hair just grows back too quick.

I find Veet quite good to be honest if you leave it on for the right amount of time. Legs are smooth and feel lovely after it.

Try shaving in the shower. The steam will open the folicals and you'll get a closer shave. Also, use a new blade maybe. I also find if I moisturise immediately after shaving it feels smoother, plumps out the skin. :)

Once you've shaved in the shower turn on the cold water and rinse where ever you have shaved with it. It will close up the pores again and your legs will be smooth.

I find Venus Breeze gives a nice close shave, and it takes the pain out of shaving every day because there's no messing around with shaving gels or anything.

Im getting my legs waxed tomorrow as going on hols for a week on Monday. My hair grows back really quickly though and I cant bring a razor as only bring hand luggage. Anyone got and pre-wax or post-wax tips for keeping the stubble at bay during my hols??? :o

You can bring a razor in hand luggage as long as it's not a straight (cut throat) razor or a safety razor. So something like a Venus or Mach 3 is fine.

    Really????

I see this on the DAA site now actually.
Razor blades (razors that have the blade set into a plastic moulding are allowed, but razors that can be opened and the razor blade removed are prohibited)

TBH I would prefer not to bring a razor if at all possible.
