    Hi,

Does anyone know of a Freesat installer in the Wicklow / Roundwood area ? I'm looking to get it done cheap...So I need a secondhand dish/box installed or whatever.

Does anyone know of anyone who won't fleece me ?

    Many thanks

I know a few installers in around Wicklow but there are not cheap they also would not dream of installing secondhand equipment. would you not consider paying the extra money for new equipment and get the job done properly you only get what you pay for

I just think the standard price they all charge is a bit much. The average cost seems to be €279-299.

Just found this site, spoke to guy on phone. He will do it for 169. Not bad

At that price ask him is it secondhand and is he supplying a Freesat/sat4free receiver or a bog standard free to air box bearing in mind if it is a free to air box it will need to be retuned regularly.

TBH, the main part is getting the dish installed, the box is not really that important, I can get sky boxes from buy&sell or adverts for half nothin.

If you source a box yourself it then should cost you roughly €125 to €145 to get it setup
