Mods, that posters regarding the judge are offensive.

On a larger issue I suggest as there is a prosecution pending in this case that there should be no discussion on this board in case it would be held to have prejudiced any trial.

I'd advise not believing everything you read in newspapers and subscribing to their spins.

In addition Judges don't release people from prisons, they hand down sentences with the benefit of hearing the case in front of them and privy to a lot a factual background information which the press and indeed yourself arent.
