I thought this would be a good thread to start. How many shots has
everyone lost so far this year or how many shots did you get back so far ?

Ill start i started the year off 16 and now down to 11

How has everyone else done so far............

Started on 16 in June, now at 14, at the end of the year would like to be a steady 12…..

Started 15.0.

Went to 15.1 -> 14.2 -> 13.9 -> 12.4 in my 1st four rounds - have been steadily working my way back up from there due to not playing a whole lot regularly and at 13.1 now.

Want to finish year on 11 but haven't been playing much in the past 2 and a half months. Getting back into it starting this weekend.

Started on 21.5 (in May). Gained a .1.
Dropped 2.4. Now on 19.2.

Would have dropped another 2.4 this week but they don't cut you for 3 balls.

4.2 to 3.9 currently... went out to 5 twice this year for one competition each time but got it back to 4 and now am guaranteed 4 for another little while I want to finish on 3 but I'd need to play some real good golf for that.
0.8 in cuts and 5 x +0.1

Very frustrating season so far. Playing good stuff but just not capitalising...

I've gained 12 +0.1s, lost 1.0. So up 0.2 on the year...

started at 14.5, down to 11.4. Only been cut twice! Have played in 15 qualifying comps with 3 .1's, 2 cuts and rest within buffer. Would be great to play of 10 by the end of the year but I'm happy enough with this years progress.

Newish to golf only joined a club last year. Handicap went up at the start as i was given 13.5 and struggled big time last year.Thought my handicap was way off then as my playing partners would double take as i would hit some horrendus shots right, left and 10 yards in front of me. Playing a lot this year has also helped me get down as well as working on my swing over the winter. Must say getting cut the first time was sweeeet.

started the year at 8.6 now 7.2 . I Would like to get to 6 by years end but it's difficult as my home course has placing all summer so no cuts. Have to rely on away scores to get down which is always tougher.

Had got to 8.7 and on the brink of dropping a shot and hacked my way around the last 2 comps, one which was the captains qualifier, not a happy bunny but still only one good game away from 8. My target for the year was 6 so not looking very likely

Well after a pathetic run of form I am gone from 5.0 to 5.5 for the second time this year. No time to practice and play too much and it shows.

started at 11.0 went to 11.6 now 8.6 playing some consistent golf of late and short game is improving.

Was 10 when a juvenile, didn't play for years so just started again after college and off 17 now, will be expecting to drop a few shots soon
