    Anyone ever have this problem?

My HD sky box every once and a while will set the time 10 minutes later than it is..

This means the sky epg is wrong and it won’t record programs..

I usually solve it by just doing a unplugging..

Now since the 12 months are up in a couple of months I was wondering if I should get onto sky to get a new one. Will they charge for a new box to be sent out? Has it happened to you?

Have never encountered this yet, which manufacturer is your Sky Hd box made from???

There are currently 3 as far as Im aware, Thompson, Pace, and Samsung.

Do you have the newly release HD only Epg??? i..e tv in the top corner when viewing the epg.

I've had numerous problems with various HD boxes - I've encountered the incorrect time on at least two occasions - I've also had remote control problems, EPG problems, no sat signal, blue screen and one or two others I can't remember. I think that the Sky HD set up is full of bugs. I never had any hassle from the Sky service until I upgraded to HD. I couldn't count the amount of times I've had to reboot my HD box to 'fix' some problem.

That said, I'd sooner the problems with Sky compared to the rubbish service I got from NTL.

so should i give them a ring? will they just replace the box ( which I could do) or will they send a guy out at 60 odd euro ?? to see if he can fix it?

I just want to fix it before the warranty goes...
