Looking to organise a ski trip for a group to Livigno this year. Can fly to Bergamo for around €50 return then taxi to Livigno working out at about €80 each return. Trying to sort accommodation at the moment through livignosnow.com.
Anyone any tips of what part of Livigno to stay in? The resort itself seems very spread out with it being in a large valley. Seems to be 2 main areas, Livigno and San Rocco.

Not completely set on Livigno yet but it seems like the best option at the moment for a relatively cheap trip with good nightlife and decent skiing/boarding. Was in Saalbach last year, was great skiing but found it slightly expensive and the nightlife was limited.

I am open to suggestions as to other resorts that would fit the bill apart from Livigno??

    Thanks. D

Been to Livigno 3 times. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Loads of piste and an excellent snowpark. Town very long alright but the free bus service runs very frequently so wouldn't be a problem though can get packed at peak times.

That's hilarious. I spotted the same deal on Ryanair yesterday. Booked the flights today. Same as yourself OP I'm interested in accommodation tips. Where did you price the taxi. The cheapest I'm seeing is €100 each for a group of 6 people.

I priced the taxi at €660 for 8 people so it works out a bit cheaper than you having 6 at €600 return, I'd say we were both looking at same taxi as I think there is only 1 servicing Livigno-Airports.

Get in contact with Nikki from livignosnow . She's been helpful for me so far with accom/axis/ski hire etc.

    posted this on another thread:

I spent a week in Livigno last December, booked a 1 bed studio appartment ( which wasn't as small as I had expected) for €390 for the two of us. There was a deal where the lift passes were included in that price.

We hired a car for the week but it was so cold that even with additives and half a tank of local diesel the fuel still froze! had to get a taxi back to the airport which cost us €270.

We booked through http://www.mountain-toursltd.com/ fantastic service from Jacquie and her husband, they live in Livigno.
