Finding a wall mounted pull-up bar in Dublin

So if someone was to check the Argos they may think that they stock a pull-up bar that bolts to a wall as opposed to a door frame but that would just be some clever advertising to confuse people ie that it pretty much just got left in by accident from the previous catalogue. >cough< :P

So would anyone know where you can actually pick one of these up?

    Hi There

    www.Irishlifting.com do one

    see http://www.irish-lifting.com/product_info_equipment.php?cPath=1_18&products_id=217

The owner Mickk is a forum member here, so you could PM him if you wish. I believe you can order it and then pick it up from his supplement shop in Camden St in city centre.

    Hope that helps,

    Best Regards,

    M

Argos have one for around 50 (it's a punchbag wall bracket).

It is in the catalogue but it is an "extra" item, meaning only large stores have it, otherwise you can book it online and they text you when it is in your local smaller store.

If doing a permanent install I would sooner get gymnastic rings myself.

Thanks for the links B-Builder, I actually wandered over to the shop but didn't see any equipment so walked on.

squod when you did you manage to get yours? I range one of the extra shops and was told that the item was from the previous catalogue and they had just been trying to sell the last of the stock. Now I'm thinking it must have just been a lazy member of staff.

Well the thing with the gymnastic rings is I don't really have anywhere to put them, I have low ceilings where I work out and although I have an attic access I live in a Victorian house and figure if I dropped off the rings I'd go through the floor. Time to have another look through the forums for alternative set ups for the rings I guess which I saw are for sale at irish-lifting.com.:)

    Cheers for the replies folks.

q: and where to find a strong wall that could support that pull-up bar? our house doesn't have one!

    Hi Buster
I actually wandered over to the shop but didn't see any equipment so walked on.

Just in case I was not clear in my earlier post. The shop in Camden St. does not stock equipment.

As far as I know it is a supplement shop. However if you phone Irish Lifting and order/buy a bar from them, they will either deliver it to you to an agreed address at an agreed time or they will deliver it to the shop in Camden St. where you can collect it from.

You could phone or PM Mickk on here for more information.

    Best Regards,

    M
