Folks, although my one has a wireless connection it can be a bit on the jumpy side for streaming from the box upstairs.

My router is nicely tucked away in the box room under a desk with the PC and I don't plan on running a nice bit of cat 5 down the stairs to the sitting room anytime soon.

Had heard of these a few times over the past few years but never really looked into it, but I think they're perfect for this. Powerline Ethernet!

Plug one into the socket in by your router and another in by your Tv (or media box for that matter) and link with cat 5 to the device and hey presto it turns your electrical wiring into a network. Very neat solution for £40 for 2.
Will most likely give this a lash in the next week, but it's certainly a winner if you haven't been lucky enough to self build your own grand design with hi-spec cabling routed through the house (some day damnit)

    but in the mean time

PS JohnMc do a bulk order and magic us up a boardies price :D
