i was just checking the current vodafone mobile broadband deals, and i saw that they are currenty offering for 20€ a month 10Gb usage,
this is doubled from the usual 5GB.
i have the 5gb package in contract since september 21st 2008.
i was wondering will i automatically recieve this usage upgrade or is there a way of getting it as i usually go over usage by 10€or more.

This was only announced onAug 4th so my guess would be that you will be on the new deal from your next bill date after Aug 4th.

I went over the 10GB limit plenty of times. Once it was about 800MB over the limit and they never charged extra. O2 rock

Then you are lucky to have an old 'Broadband Out and About' account, and you have the 'fair usage policy' applied. The newer 'O2 Clear Broadband' customers have to pay for going over the limit. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that that is what makes the difference.

Weird alright. Never knew it was to do with new and old accounts.
