    Folks

I hope this is the right forum for this, if not Mods please feel free to move.

I have a presentation to do for a new job and I'm looking to layer a fingerprint over the company logo. All of the images I can find online have a white background so you cannot see the logo in the background. Is it possible to achieve this with a programme like Photoshop and if it is would someone be able to talk me through ow to do it?

    Thanks :)

if you are still gettign white bits theres another way of doing it - but it takes longer.

lasso the individual bits of fingerprint and copy via layer - (with transparent background) .... drag and drop this onto the logo and flatten image

Another way that might work and is very quick is:

    1. Get the logo on the bottom layer
    2. put the fingerprint in the top layer
    3. change overlay mode to darken, multiply or darker color

These overlay modes should mean that all white space is ignored.

    Hope it works.

What DutchGuy said is by far the least painful way of doing it. Should only take you a couple of seconds. If you can't work it out feel free to gimme the images and I'll accommodate you.
