Which Wholemeal Bread to Pick??

Hi there, I recently read that some "wholemeal meals" that are in shops aren't the proper deal? Im wondering what is the best brand to get?? I got an irish pride loaf that said "Wholemeal" on the front..But didn;t taste much different from white bread? Thanks

Thw fluffy sliced pans like the one you bought usually have a mix of white and wholemeal flour as far as I know, plus the need sugar to get them to go fluffy unless it's a sourdough loaf so I go for mcCambridges wholemeal if I'm buying in a supermarket, better yet sus out your local bakery!

You really have to read and understand the ingredients list, many labelled brown/wholemeal/wholegrain can still have plenty of white flour in them.
