If any discerning eye would pass their eye over this I'd be grateful.

I'm looking for a desktop replacement laptop; a 17"+ screen and a 1600x900 (1600x1080 res) is important, HDMI output, must be capable of 1080p video playback and output, loads of storage space (320GB+), 4GB of memory, dual core. I'll need a video card outside the basic chipset one for some basic gaming and for 1080p video playback and output.

Pound for pound this seems to be the best value around, disappointed there's no Core 2 Duo processer but I'm not going to get everything in this price range and the T4200 puts in a decent performance against the T6400 for example.

The other option is to spend a bit more and go with this (PC Pro labs winner):

Unless anyone can think of a good reason not to go for the first one?
