Low Capital start ups

    Hi,

    I have quite an ambitious plan, which will need about 2 million startup capital, and have all the contacts and resources to make it an instance success, with 750,000 turnover in its first year.

    However, to attain this figure, i need to get to 2 million. Fresh out of college, im 20k in the red, but have enough common sense and ambition to start a successful business.

    Im however stuck.

    I need a startup with low overheads, and a steady income.
    I have so far considered::

    Strategic placement of milkshake counters in busy shopping centres with high footfall, in towns with a large secondary school population

    Excellent markup with relatively low overheads.

    I have others i have considered... but would not be so viable.

    The problem is, im in a full time job, only started, and while it is an excellent job... i dont think it holds what i am looking for in life. I want to be successful in my own right. Which i can attain when i get the 2 million!

    But how to get there???

    Cash is king.

    Turnover is vanity, profit is sanity!

    Venture Capital is the way to go. Or Enterprise Ireland. Your local enterprise board even.......although I don't think they would be interested in milk shakes! Try the dragons den?

    I also have an idea which will need about 400k funding, which will use off the shelf parts (with a little tweaking), some free software packages and tap into an existing customer base who don't even know they need this product!!!
    There is a market for it in every country in the world (perhaps not N.Korea....or Afghanistan). It will make millions, millions I tell ya!

    HAHAHAHAHA!!!

    I'm serious by the way.
