Petrol and oil in petrol mower?

That is a 4 stroke engine, it runs on plain unleaded from the garage.
No need for any oil in the petrol, but the engine needs oil in the crank case, there should be a small filler hole that has a dipstick in it that needs to be checked before you start it.
It should come with oil though.
And you should not need to put any in until it needs a service.

Also clean the shute thoroughly, and the area around the blades - when switched off. Apart from that very little goes wrong with them. BTW don't leave it out in the rain - I've had my mower for 5 years and all I've done to it is clean it, top up the oil and kept in indoors when not in use. I may not use for 4-5 months but it starts everytime.
