I do both and i'm going into third year. Legal Science, 1st year you do Contract Law and Irish Legal Systems(assignment subject), Contract Law is a real teller i you wanna do Law or not, if you're interested in it, then you'll be interested in most Law. ILS is the boring part of Legal Science which unfortunately has to be done but its easy to pass and bring your marks up if you try hard. If you like the subject and study a decent amount, you will get into the top 100 easy. 2nd year, you do Tort-Interesting and cool, Constitutional-not interesting but once you start studying it gets easy, Legal Systems-easy marks, all assignment based and an option.

IT, you start off doing programming and computer systems and applications. Programming is your teller here, it can be pretty cool, you have small assignment every week, which really contribute to your final mark. Computer Systems is lie ILS, boring but soft marks. 2nd year gets alot tougher so you'd have to be certain you wanna do IT, I don't and i'm stuck doing it. 2nd year, you do more programming, technological frameworks and information systems, i'd ask someone else on this as i'm pretty biased against the subject.
