I recently built a computer and realised it makes these beeping noises. It usually happens when I scroll up or down a webpage. When I go onto skype people complain that they can hear th noise as well. I think that its coming from the lan port but I amn't sure. I've never heard a sound like this coming from a computer before. Has anyone experienced this before?:(

See if this might fix it:

    Regedit:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound

Find the “Beep” key on the right-hand side and change the value to “no”.

I think all is does is disable the very annoying "beep" response to Windows events, like those you were having the issues with.

Actually that didnt stop the problem. Today I started skype and the beeby noises came back. I think its actually from the hard drive.

Might be a Skype problem. Google show other people with the same problem but no solutions that I could see. Maybe email Skype support?

As long as its not some kind of hardware problem that might mean one day my hard drive doesnt work im not that bothered about it.

I think it's very unlikey to be your hard drive.
