    Receiver gets quite hot ... I wonder is this bad for the bluray player on top of it ?

    now its not boiling but it is quite hot to touch it ... i wonder should i put the BD player someplace else ?

    Blu Ray player on top of a reciever is a very bad idea.
    All recievers need clearance to operate within safe parameters.

    Same as the other lads said,get it off ASAP

    I think 6 inches is the recommended distance,Id give it more though

    if ya dont have the space, put the blueray on the bottom.

    as receiver is on most of the time, this needs more ventilation.
    The vents on the top should be left clear!
