The dublin flightase company might be worth a look.

What type of guitar is it? There must surely be some kind of case in regular production that can fit it.

Depending on the guitar, you can get very good "off the rack" (or semi custom) hard shell cases made in the UK, Canada, and/or the US, as well as SE Asia. The best of these include:

Calton Cases (who also do totally custom cases) which are formed fiberglass cases that are customized on the inside for your specific guitar. Excellent (and expensive) cases used by many top guitarists. You can find them (non-customized for your guitar) cheaper if you look. Made in Canada.

Hiscox Cases - I am not sure if you can order a "custom" case - but it is very easy to customize one yourself by adding padding and crushed velvet lining. Watch the video that is on their website about the design and construction of their cases - you won't got with a cheap case again! Made in the UK - this is the standard case for most of the top UK and Irish luthiers, such as Lowden, Avalon, Manson, McIlroy... there are three levels, and even the most expensive is a better value than the Calton.

There is also Ameritage - which are also totally custom cases, but not flight worthy (and very heavy as well as expensive) and Kazura (made in SE Asia - very, very expensive), and others that I can't think of at the moment.

I have all except Kazura, as well as the standard Martin and TLK cases. I am torn between the Calton's and the newest Hiscox - like them both, and since I do a lot of traveling, I wouldn't use anything less for the guitars I take along. I have also done a lot of self-customizing - it's easy!
    :D
