Have worn the lunar trainer. Not the glide although im gettin them next week for my birthday...I hope!

The trainer are the best runner I have ever worn. They have a great spring to them and feel really fast.
The glide are slightly heavier but have better support I believe.

Do yourself a favour, if you know your size get them mail order. I saved 40e on mine compared to a certain running shop in terenure.
Dont mind paying a few quid more but .......

Yes, infact they would be perfect. They are as light as a racer but with superb cushioning and the bounce is really good. If I put the pegasus on now they seem like bricks!
They are a good wide fit too.

But the glide have better support so looking forward to them.

Nike's own website has customer reviews.

That's an exaggeration. They might be lighter than your usual trainer, but they're definitely not as light as a racing shoe.

I loved the Trainer, but the Glide is heavier and I think I'll give it a miss for that reason (why oh why do they have to change shoe design all the time!!!)

I was looking at these back in April/May when I got an offer from Nike but having never worn Nike trainers I kind of just ignored it, been looking to buy new runners now t the weekend and was going to buy a pair but wiggle are out of stock till November  found them on another site but they don't have my size. They've a 6 and a 7 but no damn 6 1/2, what are the Nike sizes like? would I be good with the 6 or 7?

Not sure on the glide for size but the trainer is wide fitting and big. The racer is the opposite. Small fit and narrow.
Hopefully the glide has the same fit.

As for weight. Yes the glide are heavier than the trainer but worth it if the support is there. Anyway will see when I get them.
