Its a good club ,very forgiving but distance wise I thought it was disappointing.

I would disagree, bought one recently and i'm hitting it 10 to 20 yards further than my previous driver, i love the club, taylormade tour burner

If you can hit a demo, you'll know fairly quick if it suits or not

Not being nasty but I hear that said of nearly every new driver released .10-20 yards further.
I should be able to hit the ball 400 yards by now with all the extra yards promised if I believed the marketing.

I agree, but marketing saying you will hit the ball 20 yards further and you actually hitting the ball 20 yards further on the coarse are also too totally different things

As I said earlier, get a demo, try it out, get fitted if possible, i did and its well worth it.

    Try before you buy.

Just curious what degree do you guys play with the driver,
I am thinking 9.5 Taylor made burner, using 10.5 degree Nicklaus at then moment

My advice is dont take a chance, forking out 129 and buying the wrong spec club. Look at suggestions above. I use the 10.5 degree myself. Look at what the pros hit, mostly now 9.5 or 10.

Hi there, I ended up getting the 9.5 Regular shaft and I hit it like a dream and further than ever before, 10 th hole in Dublin South County of whites I put it 10 yards from the red marker, never any where near that before, American golf, and MCGuirks Blancherstown is where I purchased also got the cover for it aswell, lovely club

I also picked one of these up... higher handicap so I went for the 10.5 reg Flex. When its hit sweet, it goes sweet... but I suppose the same can be said about any driver. It is quite forgiving, big clubhead so gives a weaker player a bit of confidence on the tee box looking down. One thing I will say is that I got a 3 and 5 rescue, both TM Burner and they are by far the easiest clubs I have to hit. They are seriously forgiving for a higher handicapper... maybe they are not great for the better player but they are doing a good job with me. I got last years models for 120 in McGuirks so I presume the other shops have followed suit with these prices.
