    Hey,
I've to choose a film to show on a projector tonight, in a café type setting. I thought I'd ask here to get some recommendations. I'd like it to be thought provoking, maybe dealing with contemporary issues. It doesn't have to be a documentary.

    Any suggestions are welcome :)

V for Vendetta. Entertaining and topical, would promote some interesting discussions.

    Cannibal Holocaust.

Thought provoking and as relevant today as it was when it was released.

    Possibly Pasolini's Salo.

Its certain to prompt interesting discussion.

Watership Down or The Plague Dogs (have a bit of a Richard Adams buzz going after rereading Shardik last night)

The Old Man And The Sea (Spencer Tracey version. Watched it on tv today for the first time in about 20 years) or 12 Angry Men.
