Anyone know how I can push updated/new contact information that I edit/add on mobileme account to my iPhone.

I received my iphone a few days ago and finially sorted out getting all my contacts on to my iPhone but they are a bit of a mess. I want to edit them on MobileMe as it would be faster than doing each one individually of the phone. I have started to update each contact in mobileme but while the info is saved on mobileme, it remains unchanged on my iphone.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

Sometimes it can certainly be bit sluggish: your procedure is a good one -update on MobileMe first, then that pushes to your iPhone.

It usually works very well but not always. What I suggest is this: turn syncing off on the iPhone, let it wipe all contacts. Edit on MobileMe. When finished and satisfied, then turn sync back on, and watch as contacts is now populated with the newly-edited version.

(Of course, make sure that Push is turned on and that your login details for MM are correct on the iPhone, which am sure you have done).

Sometimes I notice that MobileMe->iPhone is a bit haphazard but I am constantly amazed how iPhone->MobileMe updates the latter plus all my Macs in seconds! Very impressive.

Good call culabula. I wiped all the contacts from my iPhone which is actually a bit tricky to do. But once done, I had all my contacts on MM and started to edit them. They started to edit on thye fly so while I dont ahve all of them edited, it is now working everytime I make a chnage, which is what I wanted.

Now just to set aside an few hours and update MM :)

Thanks for the suggestion, deffo helped!
