Native Wood Plantation - Blessington, others?

Ok, so Blessington area, was heading to Lacken from Dublin but came off the N81 at the Red Lane and got on the Manor Kilbride Rd (dunno what it's called R-whateva)

So, got past the few houses right at the T junction and then saw some signs, lakeside, and saplings etc between the road and the lake. Signs said "Native wood plantations" or something to that effect, didn't have time to stop but didn't see any coillte signage etc.

    Anyone know what it's about?

    Are there more anywhere?

Are they (or it...) going to be a permanent growth or are they growing to harvest like most of the coillte woods?

    Thanks if anyone knows.
