    Hi, could anyone please tell me if you need your tenants signature to register with the PRTB and if you do does the tenant have to sign it?

    Yes and Yes.

    If they dont sign then you dont have a registered tenacy and you are the one liable.

    You also need their PPSN number on the form.

    I'd read that as they need to sign but if they dont give you their PPSN number after you ask reasonably for it then you arent responsable.
