Hi, just recently engaged and planning on getting married somewhere in Meath (or surrounding area). Can anybody recommend good hotel venues and also average prices for the recommended hotels? Also does anybody know of any hotels who would allow you to bring your own wine? Our numbers will be quite large at approx 220.

    Any advice appreciated! :)

you really need to give an indication of what you want to spend per head.

for a big wedding, you might want to check out Knightsbrook hotel in Trim, meant to be doing some good deals there, and caters for big weddings.

more expensive, would be manor homes / castles, e.g. Slane Castle.

Check out their websites for details of prices, but presume all woudl be negotiable

we really aren't sure yet but nothing in the region of castle prices! i'm trying to see what the average prices are and then see from there. it would be great to get an all inclusive price
