Network cabling technician courses?

    I could be completely wrong and I'm open to correction on this but I think a good place to start would be to just read the standards and RFC's unless its something more specific you are looking for?

    You can get alot of real world information about how "best" to do things by the "book" from publications like Cisco Press etc. There can't be that much to it.

    I would imagine that at the end of the day its down to practice for the physical media and if its design... well.... a whole lot of reading.
