Just a quick note to say I no longer work for D4 Hotels. Some people are still sending me requests. I would like to thank everyone for their business since the start of the year. It was a lot of fun but time to move on.

Considering the time and effort Pat put into the boardsie community and the amount of people that was helped with discounts/upgrades, i think the admins should grant a complimentary name change.

I am not sure to be honest. Dont know who will do my job. It did not end well with the Dunners goons. Seems to be the normal way.

Am playing around im my head how to try to get good prices for a lot of Hotels?

Post here Pat and hopefully the admins will do something for you, you normally have to be a subscriber though.

Jus to bump this incase D4Hotels gets any PM's as there's an offer on at the moment.

Very sorry to hear you've left Pat. I mean this from the heart - it's their loss. Your superlative communication and willing to haggle left the customer (ie. me) feeling very satisfied.

In fairness though any staff I encountered at the hotel were also very friendly. The most friendly receptionist I ever encountered was at the D4Hotels Berkley Court - I think 'Roshini' was his name, or something similar. He looked to be of Indian descent.

All the best in the future Pat, if you come accross any bargains (I found your new site www.hotelconsult.ie and will keep an eye on the blog for bargains) please let us know
