So I adopted a Donkey....

Came across the Donkey Sanctuary online and plucked up the courage to adopt my beloved Lorcan the donkey. Even found the following wonderful poem (NOT made by me, *cough*) in their forum:

You can adopt yours here (http://www.thedonkeysanctuary.ie/files/ireland/AdoptionForm.pdf) and get a DVD (!!) of your donkey for a bit extra. So here's the q - why do I feel infinitely better about this decision than if I'd been signed up by a Chugger for Concern? Aside from the fact I picked the lovely Lorcan of course

The name is a bit misleading - some of them think it's a kind of Spa to get away from the mad humans who annoy them constantly - imagine how pissed they get when they find out that it is actually a recruiting ground for guilty non-recessionistas.
