So what is everyone up to for the weekend?

I'm visiting a friend in Galway. We tried to get Athenry but it was booked up........./* cue me grabbing Hooked

We are now booked into Bearna for tomorrow morning /* cue the excitement

I love new courses and this course, described as typical rugged Connemara countryside with fairways constructed between rocks and heather, sounds like a fun track.

Playing v Par for the first time in Dublin City on Sun. Can this comp be used to adjust your handicap?

Weather should be decent. Suits me anyway, sunny in the west on Sat and sunny in the east on Sun

am playin either Hodson Bay in Athlone or Moate tomorrow afternoon.

Only played the Bay once and it bet me so can't wait to have another round there.

is hodson bay not the hotel and the golf course is Athlone Golf Club

Course is know locally as the Hodson Bay but your are right - Its Athlone Golf Club. the Hodson Bay is a hotel located beside the golf course.

There's a couple of nice holes in Athlone (Hodson Bay) but by and large it's an awful course imho.
