Just wondering if anybody has any recommendations of online sites for buying decent vitamin and mineral supplements?

I reckon I am being fleeced blind by my local healthfood shop and would get them cheaper online, but would prefer to buy from a site that is recommended as opposed to just chancing one.

I'm using Solgar stuff at the moment, so something similar quality would be great:)

    Cheers!

I user iherb and find it fantastic tbh. I am not sure they stock solgar but I have used a lot of Now and Doctor's Best stuff and find the quality is fine. Shipping is only $4 for a good bit of stuff too I think. It could take up to two weeks to arrive sometimes though so make sure you are not in too much of a hurry!

I have heard about zipvit.co.uk as well but have not used them personally.

Myprotein.co.uk do stuff like fish oils, psyllium husk, b vitamins etc. in bulk but the range is nothing as big as iherb.

    +1 for iherb!

Excellent customer service, quick and cheap shipping, value for money too (I don't work for them I swear :))

I pay a subscription to a website called 'consumerlab.com' that does independent testing of supplements, some of the claimed amounts are on the jars of supplements are way off. But NOW supplements on iherb are always of a high quality.

Word to the wise, DO NOT buy the NOW brand fish oil, the gelcaps are mahusive and stank so bad, I had to chuck them. Everything else I've ordered has been pretty good.

Finding food supplements online is easy, but finding good ones is difficult. You can buy food supplements for cheap or splurge on hundred pound supplements.

    +1 for iherb.com also.

Very good stock and prices, I usually order the NOW brand or Jarrows pharmaceutical grade stuff.
I've had all my orders arrive after one week, by the standard $4 delivery.

    Much recommended.
