Peugeot 308 Verve Advert - "No-R" ?

In the "Drive Sexy" advert for the new Peugeot 308 "Verve", the woman asks does the car come in any other colour than black.

The salesman replies, saying that it comes in "Noir", which is the french for Black obviously. He's american, but the way he says Noir sounds as if he's saying "No-R", as in there's no R in Peugeot. A lot of English people, and people over her call them "Per-geot's", so maybe the advert is playing on that? Also, the ad ends with a close up of a woman's lips saying Peugeot, in correct french pronunciation.

Very clever advertising or am I reading too much into it?!

Reading too much into it. It's a play on Henry Ford.

Bloody hell...that's complex; you should work in advertising. Or maybe you do...good job then so. As you were!

I agree, am also pretty sure Peugeot were running ads in the UK addressing the mispronunciation in the UK of their brand.
