A&A Beers! Friday, 8pm, 4th Sept 2009 - in The Duke

Right! A provisional date has been put forward:

    Friday, 4th September 2009.

Having it on a Friday worked for people last time, and this gives the faithless four weeks notice to change their (clearly inferior) plans accordingly. So who's up for a bit a lively banter, followed by more lively (but slurred) banter?

    The A&A Team

Might I suggest that you swap mobile numbers to ensure you can find each other.

I've heard that's been a problem in the past.

    Not bitter at all.

Anyway I'll be in Canada for another 9 months or so, so enjoy it, I'll successfully tag along some day. Well no, I'll probably be back around Christmas for a week or two so if there's one around then count me in.

It is standard OP in alot of forums for a mod/organiser type to bring something everyone can recognise (in the nocturnal forum, transformers or american psycho action figures, for BGRH carnation milk).

I suppose a few defaced bibles would be out of the question? :D

EDIT: I will be watching you Zillah, you cannot trust a Tremere.

I will do my best to attend this one. The only thing I know I have to do around that date is auditor training, and the odds of being held on a Friday night are small.

any venue yet....i really think that is HAS to be in the church, mary street! is there a more fitting venue for an A&A beers, a former church turned into a bar (something much more fun)! :pac:

Deliciously ironic as somewhere like The Church would be, the last time The Duke worked out great! You can score seats, actually swap legal tender for a pint, and not turn to Darwinism for breathing space on a Friday night.

That said, all ideas will be entertained.*

We'd need to break into a Catholic Mormon church for south American blood/wine.

you've stumbled onto a secret society of spagettit lovers who are sitting on evidence, that at the last supper, jesus spoonfed mary magdalence some pasta alla arrabiatta before whipping the disciples with spagetti that was so al dente it hurt bad.
this spawned a spin off cult self multilating monks who were convinced that they had to severely punish themselves with 100% uncooked durum wheat semolina in order to please the supreme pasta overlord

Anyway, perhaps! Don't live in the city and lacking a car, things are awkward that way. But! Perhaps!

Had been hoping to finally make it to a Godless Beers but I have just this past evening had my last drink until the evening of September 12th. This being fit lark is seriously cramping my social life.
