Signal strength for satellite dish

    Hi, I've decided after sucessfully installing a FTA system in my rented house I would do the same in my parents house. Is there such a thing as poor reception in areas for satellite? I am using an analogue finder, which has worked ewll before and also have my dad monitoring the receiver in the house as it is a dual LNB on a 60 cm dish. I can't seem to get quality or signal above 20%. The dish itself is on a pole above the chimney and has a clear view although there are some high trees 150m or so from the dish but I've seen similar installs and they are working fine. Any advice or has anyone had the same experience? Thanks.
