    Looking for a birthday gift, group of us want to give a friend of ours credit so she can buy what she wants online. So like phone credit, can we buy credit card credit so she can use it to buy what she wants?
    I heard of them before but i'm unsure where i could get one?
    Do Visa or Mastercard do it?

    I use 3v i find it very good you can check it out on www.3v.ie It basically a visa card they send you a card which is scanned at a payzone shop after you hand over the relevant amount you want lowest is twenty highest i think is 300 or so you get print out like phone credit with your card no they send you a email with your expiry date and cvv no.Down sides there is a charge over certain amount you get you can transfer from one voucher to another there is charge of 2.50 it can be a pain try to make sure you use it all i hope this is of help to you

    Setting up one of these, in someone else's name, may not be possible. You'll need certain amounts of personal info that you may not have.

    If she already uses one, you might be able to purchase credit for it.

    You dont have to set it up in her name set it up in your own name just give her the print out write the cvv2 no and expiry date on it.You can get these sent to your mobile

    Very bad idea. The name on the card will then be different to the name on any order that she places with an online shop. This will raise red flags with most places, cause delays, and probably end up in the order being canceled.

    If this is just a one off it will be fine i have 3 different addresses on my amazon account which i have used as long as they get their money they dont care.The register for 3v is just basic it is what most friends would know about you address email address date of birth a password can be changed by the person who gets the present
