Les Paul robot question

Hi just a general question. No idea of the value of guitars so if anyone can help me out it would be great.

How much do you reckon a Les Paul Robot limited ed. 1st run would appreciate by over a few years? Bought it in early 2008 to get back into playing (used to play alot) but just havent seemed to have the time to commit to it, so its just been sitting there unplayed which is an awful pity. Was thinking about selling but might hold on to it for a while if it the price would be likely to appreciate.

    Your thoughts?

I wouldn't expect it to appreciate any time soon tbh, they're not highly sought after, even if it's the "first run".

    I agree. It's not a collector's piece.

To be honest, if Gibson continue with the Robot line I can see them refining the technology involved, eventually leading to the earlier models becoming more or less obsolete.

+1 on what Rav said. That said, the few of the first run robots that I played were nice guitars and seemed to be of a fairly high standard. Play it and enjoy it.
