took morning after pill (levonelle) within 12 hours of incident. now period is late. Apparently the morning after pill can cause delay of onset of period.
has anyone experienced this, if so for how long?
    thanks.

    Hi,

I'm surprised that this hasn't been locked or moved (to the Biology/Medicine forum) yet. I will say this though: Call your GP about it. Medication affects people differently and any advice you hear from others here should not be assumed by you to be the same in your situation.

    Kevin.

Yes it can delay your period, did you not read the leaflet that came with it?
I suggest that you speak to the dr who prescribed it.
